Cardea Health Inc., the cardiology-focused platform behind
FLOW which unifies patient data to provide real-time actionable insights, has successfully closed its
pre-seed round of funding. The Co-Founders, Mr. Naveed Ahmad, CEO and Dr. Andrew Yadegari,
Chief Medical Information Officer, have worked tirelessly alongside their Chief Technology Officer,
Mr. Sri Gowrishankar, to create a solution that allows cardiologists to have all the most relevant
patient data on a single pane of glass so that they can improve quality of care for their outpatients.
“We are excited to announce the close of our first round of funding that will enable us to accelerate
our mission of not only improving the outcomes for the highest risk patient population, but also
simultaneously addressing the physician’s operational and administrative pain points.” stated Dr.
Yadegari. Cardea Health Inc. was founded by Mr. Naveed Ahmad, a serial entrepreneur and Dr.
Yadegari, an interventional cardiologist, after their time together at the Heart Health Institute
where Mr. Ahmad was brought on as the interim CEO.

The goal of the pre-seed round was to raise $750K however, due to key strategic investors, the
round closed at $975K. The investors in this round of funding consisted of a wide range of Canadian
Angel investors including physicians, health tech entrepreneurs, and HNW individuals all of whom
have a deep desire to improve patient outcomes through technological innovation.
